Vintage Agfa bellow camera made in Germany in the 1920s. The camera comes in its original brown leather case, accompanied by a tripod, glass photographic plates and a light meter. The set is in good condition and working order, and is also a very decorative and complete piece. This is surely the perfect article to finish a good collection of vintage cameras or just to embellish a special place. As stated before, the camera works fine and can be used with the rest of the accessories, except for the light meter that does not work.Agfa is one of the most prestigious and renowned manufacturers of film and photographic material of the 20th century. It is still working and makes digital imaging systems and IT solutions. In the beginning the company was founded in 1873 from the collaboration of a Belgium photo businessman and a Germany color dye manufacturer. The first folding bellow cameras were produced in 1925, the models being called Agfa Standard, Isolar and Billy. On the other hand, this particular camera bears a Compur shutter made by company F. Deckel (Munich, Germany). It is one of the first shutters manufactured by the firm, with serial number 248406 and dial set: the speed is set by rotating a dial at the top of the shutter plate. This dial bears a monogram with the letters FD meaning F. Deckel.Outside this piece we can see another serial number engraved in the metal: No. 30720. As we have mentioned, the camera comes with photographic plates, a tripod with bamboo telescopic legs that can be folded into three black-enameled metal tubes, its original leather case (in very good condition) and a light meter brand Justophot in its cardboard box, currently not worming.
