Set of two vintage cameras made by prestigious brand Kodak in the first half of the 20th century. This set is a charming and antique item composed of two collectors pieces. It includes a small Vest Pocket Autographic Special camera with its original leather case and serial number 15286, made in 1915. On the other hand we can see a Six-20 Kodak Junior camera with serial number 398597 and lens number 401068, made in 1934. This camera comes with its original cardboard box and instructions. The set is very beautiful and the cameras are in working order, so they could be used to take photographs, but they haven't been tested with film.Eastman Kodak was founded in the United States by George Eastman and Henry Strong, in 1889. Among many other designs the firm manufactured the ones we can see in the images. The Vest Pocket Autographic Kodak was produced from 1915 to 1926 and was known as the Soldiers camera during the World War I. It was a very popular model and more than 1,750,000 units were sold. It has an area designed to write notes on the paper back of the 127 film; this feature, designed by Henry J. Gaisman, gives the camera its autographic quality. The Kodak Junior Six-20 model was produced in parallel with the Junior Six-16 series, between 1935 and 1937. They were low cost cameras designed for the most popular film sizes. The Kodak Six-20 Junior, the model we can see in the photographs, mounted Kodak Anastigmat F:6.3 lens or Kodak Doublet lens, both with the Kodon shutter. As stated before, this particular model keeps the original cardboard box and instructions, something that turns it into a highly interesting piece for any collector. These Kodak cameras historic interest, charming design and functionality turn them into the perfect item to become part of a quality collection.
