Set of four curious and decorative vintage cameras made in the first half of the 20th century. The cameras are of different brands and from various places, and they are all small in size though two of them are real miniatures. They are all original and boast charming and beautiful designs, making up a nice collection perfect to embellish the most elegant showcase. The cameras are in good condition if we consider their old age, and though they show some signs of wear, this feature only that testifies for their long life and provides them with an unmistakable personality. The set is composed of various models. First we have an Ensignette Nº 1 camera made in 1909. At the front we can see the patent number and year: 28464, 1907. This is a British camera made by Houghtons Ltd, London, and designed by Swedish engineer Magnus Neill. The Ensignette was the first all-metal British camera and around ten thousand units were manufactured and sold. The second camera is an Iris Rosse made in 1939, a curious machine made in Spain. These models were manufactured by Rosselló, a company located in Palma de Mallorca. The company only lasted from 1939 to 1955 so very few units were made. Nowadays these cameras are hard to find. The set also includes two miniature models: a Barlux and a Snappy, this last one made in 1949. Their tiny size and basic design turn them into purely decorative pieces, perfect to complete a good collection of cameras of all times and from all over the world. This charming collection of vintage cameras will catch everybodys eye in any room or study,
