Edison Kinetoscope 35mm projector. 1897. museum piece!.the first cinema projector in history for many! For others it was Lumiere. The fact is that both Lumiere and Edison introduced their projectors to the world almost simultaneously, although Edison was the only one to use 35mm film, which would later become standard.This is a historic piece. The machine is in perfect condition and runs smoothly. All parts are original sound. There are a couple of restorations on the wood near the crank. Other than that, the wood is in very good condition. One screw is missing on the front. The number 365 is engraved on the front, so I assume it is the serial number. A great piece to swell any important private collection or film or photography museum.Measurements are: 37.5 cms high, 23 cms wide and 15 cms deep.
