Original military Luftwaffe Leica IIIc converted to a Leica IIIf (synchronitation and wind knod) in perfect working conditions. Engraving on top "Fl. nº 38079" is still present. Engraving on back "Luftwaffen-Eingentum" has been defaced by engraving "Landpolizei". It comes with its original Summitar 2/5 cms lens, serial number 550926. The aperture of the lens is a little sticking, but it works.According to the records of the house Leica, the camera was sent on October 2, 1940 to the Luftwaffe Headquarters in Berlin with the dispatch number 19148. The lens with the serial number 550926, was sent the next day, on October 3, 1940 with the same shipment number, 19148. Therefore, both the camera and lens have been together since the beginning. On the other hand, it is virtually impossible to know the date on which the camera became a Police camera. Most likely this happens after the War.
