Great camera made in Germany in 1952 by the renowned Leica brand. It is a 100% authentic piece, which is kept in very good condition in its original leather case, also by Leica. On the top of the camera it is shown the inscription Leica (with the elegant original signature) DRP Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Gmbh Germany, and the serial Nr. 644376 . The camera is in a very good condition, with its polished metal still bright despite its age and showing only slight signs of use. The body of the camera, made of black leather, is also in excellent condition. The cover is more worn, but the company name (engraved on the front) and the attractive color of the old leather give it a high aesthetic value. This camera carries an Elmar lens 1:3.5 /50, whose serial number 1067508 is engraved on the inner ring. The set works perfectly, although the camera has not been tested with film. Leica cameras have always been a favorite of many great masters of photography, such as Henri Cartier-Bresson. They have also been a reference for photojournalism genius as Robert Capa. During the 50's, the time when this camera was made, they were considered (along with Contax cameras) the best in the market. This piece is, in short, an icon of photographic art that will delight lovers of photography and antiques.
