Beautiful vintage bellows camera dating from 1900. It is a real antique, full of charm and history, which is very well preserved and in perfect working order. This camera was made by French Maison F. Jonte brand, a company located in Paris. It is made of solid mahogany, which boasts a nice light color, and the different pieces combine their tones and veneers making an attractive design. The objective and the metal pieces are made of polished brass, and they are also in very good condition. The excellent condition of the cameras bellows is highly remarkable, as it has no breakages or tears. The camera has also a curtain release whose shutter speed can be regulated. All the pieces and components work perfectly, and the user can still take photographs with this camera. It comes with three plates and a small empty bottle, which probably was meant to contain some liquid to keep the metal parts lubricated. The camera comes with an old towrope in very good condition, although it may not be the original one but belonged to any other camera dating from the same time. The objective is engraved and bears the makers name, the city (Paris) and the serial number: 53XXXX. The camera also has a metal plate attached to its front, bearin the companys name and address: Mon. F. Jonte Mce. Deloye, Ing. ECP SUCESSEUR 124, Rue Lafayette, 124 PARIS. This cameras great condition and working order indicates that it has scarcely been used, and has come to our days as beautiful as when it was made. It comes with its original carrying suitcase. It is undoubtedly a very special piece which will stand out in any collection or elegant room. Measurements: 540 mm length x 250 mm height (fully extended).
