Antique field photo camera made circa 1880, in excellent condition and with all its original component parts and pieces. The camera is designed to work with 13x18 plates and is composed of several light-colored walnut wooden planks, with a lovely golden shade and beautiful dark grain. All of them preserve the original transparent finish in fine condition. The metalwork that connects the pieces and allow the camera to fold and unfold are made of brass. They are all original and there is no one missing. The black-leather bellows is also amazingly preserved, showing no traces of wear or torn parts. The objective is the original one, also in good condition. The focusing glass plate located at the back of the camera can be turned in order to tale horizontal photographs.
