Antique Eho-Altissa: Eho Box (3x4, Baby-Box) pocket camera made in Germany between 1932 and 1939. This is a compact model, of the kind once known as box cameras. It is in fine condition and good working order; the black covering and the silver metal show some signs of the trace of time and the use, logical if we take in consideration the cameras ancient age. Eho Box cameras were launched and produced by Emil Hofert since the early 1930s; the brand is an acronym of his first and second names. Hofert died in 1935 and the company was taken over by one of his employees, Berthold Altmann, who in 1941 changed the brand name for Altissa. This camera is small, square-shaped and compact; it mounts a top leather carrying handle with the brand name Eho. The name is also embossed in one of the cameras sides. The great charm and the authenticity of this antique Eho-Altissa: Eho Box (3x4, Baby-Box) pocket camera turn it into a real collectors piece in good working order. Dimensions: Width: 2.36 in / 6 cm.
