Antique Ica-Bébé 40 pocket camera made in France between 1911 and 1925 and in its original storing case. The camera shows off a compact design, small in size and easy to carry. As well as being an authentic piece from the early 20th century, mechanically it is in fine working order though it has not been tested with plates. The camera is made of silvery and black-painted metal; both finishes remain in good condition, with just very slight signs of wear at some corners. At the front side we can see the engraved models name, Ica-Bébé, on the black background. The camera mounts a Tessar 1:45 f=7,5 Carl Zeiss Jena lens with serial number N1 365601. If we remove the rear panel we will see the number H 25240 engraved at one side. The storing case is made of black leather and preserves the metal suitcase lock in fine working order, as well as the carrying strap. This charming antique Ica-Bébé 40 pocket camera will be a great addition to a good collection of old-time photographic material. Dimensions: Width: 3.54 in / 9.5 cm. Height: 2.56 in / 6 cm.
