Set of thirty nine German 9.5 mm film rolls for Pathé Baby projector, dating from 1930. The films are carefully preserved and come in their original case. This is an interesting set from the early 20th century that in spite of their old age keeps all the charm of the articles from the first times of home cinema. The films are in very good condition and all of them keep labels with their titles in German. They are of different themes, basically infantile and documental, and can be reproduced in a 9.5 mm projector.Among other themes, the set of films contains documental films about the Niagara Falls and even one about Lerida in Spain. There is also a series of rolls with Felix the Cats adventures, a popular cartoon from the first half of the 20th century. Some of the labels are hand-written with pencil or ink, but the vast majority of them are printed and numbered. The films are kept in their original case, with a plastic fabric covering outside and a red felt lining inside.Inside the box is compartmented with felt-lined planks to store the rolls in order. Outside, on the lid there is a printed diagonal inscription in washed out golden letters: kinlein films. The films were meant to be reproduced in a Pathé Baby projector, a home cinema system which was launched in 1922 by Pathé Frères. This film and record producer was founded in 1896 in Paris by Pathé brothers and in the early 20th century became the most important filmmaker company in the world. This set of vintage films, a hundred per cent original, has all the charm of the early times of the seventh art. Cinematograph lovers will find a great acquisition in it.
