20 Stereoscopic Plates, 1914-18

Exclusive set of 20 stereoscopic glass plates with images taken during World War I. The plates show battlefields, ruined cities, devastated landscapes, soldiers, civilians and other images that reflect the crudeness and the desolation of war. They are in excellent condition and can be easily watched with a stereoscopic viewer. The plates measure 60 x 130 mm and bear inscriptions describing the images. The set comes in its original packaging a blue cardboard box, wonderfully preserved and with a label stack to the cover. The label bears the printed manufacturers name (ROLLAND) and city (Paris) and a brief description of the content. Because of its authenticity and good condition, this set of stereoscopic plates deserves a very special place in a good collection of antique photographs. Measurements: 60 x 130 mm.
