Attractive set of 25 stereoviews taken in the early 20th century in different cities and countries. The plates bear handwritten inscriptions with the names of the cities and countries depicted in the scenes: Constantinople, Beirut, Syria and Turkey. The images are printed in black and white and sepia tones, and show different places of the cities, evocative landscapes and moments of the daily life. The latter are especially remarkable because of the great charm they boast and the authenticity of the scenes that appear in the photographs. The glass plates are in good condition and can be clearly viewed using a stereo viewer. This collection of stereoviews is a charming and evocative piece with a stunning originality.
