Set of 25 black-and-white and sepia-toned stereoviews designed to be viewed with a stereoscope. The plates are well preserved even being so antique and fragile, depicting different places, landscapes and daily-life scenes taken in several Dutch cities. They were taken and developed in the early 20th century and show an undeniable charm, reflecting the course of life, the old-time clothes and the customs of the country. Among other scenes we can see images of fishermen in their boat, views of dams and docks, crowds in the streets, canals, families, kids They are great authentic images that turn this set of stereoscopic plates into a highly evocative piece. Ancient and well preserved, these stereoscopic plates bring back to life those long-gone scenes. Measurements: 45 x 103 mm.
