The inscription tells us that the plate was taken in the Forest of Fontaineblau in 1929. The images show different spots and places in France: gardens, green houses, cathedrals, monuments They are all colored with the ingenious technique developed by the Lumière Brothers in the early 20th century that made it possible to add colors during the developing process.
