15 Antique Stereoscopic Plates with Places in Spain. France, 1909-10 (45x107)

Nostalgic set of 15 stereoviews developed in black and white and sepia tones. The plates, designed to be watched using a stereoscopic viewer, are original from the early 20th century they were taken between 1909 and 1901. They bear handwritten titles and descriptions. The images show famous Spanish places such as the Generalife, the Cathedral of Palma and the Suspended Bride in Valencia, but also picturesque scenes (seaports, people). There are also images of two bullfights, one in Barcelona and the other in Bilbao, and photographs taken in Benidorm, Sierra Nevada and Elche among other places. Some plates show also the date of taking. These stereoscopic plates portray long-gone moments and places, and are a unique testimony of the Spanish life in the early 20th century.
