Complete set of 60 antique stereoviews, coming from France and in good condition. The plates date from the early 20th century, and in spite of being so fragile have survived to our days and can still be watched with a stereoscopic viewer and enjoy the sensation of depth they create. The plates show images taken in different spots of France and Rome: Nice, the Provence, the Cote DAzur, Lyon, the church of Trinità dei Monte in Rome, the cathedral of Chartres The photographs were obviously taken by an amateur and they display an undeniable charm, being perfect to testify for the evolution of the places during a whole century. Many plates bear identification titles written by hand on the negative. As complete as interesting, this collection of old-time stereoscopic plates will delight any lover of antique photographs.
