Antique Set of 35 Stereoscopic Plates with Family Photos. Year 1909

Curious set of 35 antique glass stereoscopic plates developed in black and white and sepia tones and very well preserved. The images depict scenes of the life of a family, evocative landscapes and portraits of people, in group or by alone. The portraits are taken following the style of the period, with the people posing in different attitudes: relaxing on holidays, looking at the camera, smiling or with serious faces and rigid poses. Many photographs show kids with antique clothes, a great testimony of the turn-of-the-century middle classes lifestyle. Some photographs depict beautiful spots of gardens and parks, a lake with swans and buildings. For their good condition and nostalgic images, this set of stereoviews deserves a place in a great collection of antique photographs. Measurements: 107 x 45 mm.
