Fascinating set of 48 stereoscopic photographs with images of nude women reproduced on cardboard. The images show young naked women in different scenes and positions. They were manufactured in France in the early 20th century (circa 1910). By the standards of their time they could be classified as pornographic and were only for adult consumption in a more or less clandestine way. The photographs show scenes in an ancient-Greek style and are reproductions of a series of glass plates taken in LAtrium, an antique French photo study, for Jules Richard. The classic theme was employed to give erotic photographs an artistic touch and provide them with an air of acceptability. The collection is in very good condition. This set of antique nude photographs is a real collectors piece with all the charm of the ingenuous turn-of-the-century eroticism. Measurements: 9 x 18 mm.
