Antique collection of 45x107 World War I stereoscopic photographs take in France circa 1914. The collection is complete and in very good condition, depicting real life during the content and its backgrounds in nostalgic black-and-white and sepia-colored pictures. The images are taken on glass plates which can be seen with a stereoscopic viewer. All of them bear handwritten inscriptions with the photo number, brief descriptions of the portrayed scenes and even dates. The photographs show images of bombed cities and villages with ruined buildings and devastated landscapes. There are also images of soldiers, trenches, columns of smoke and even a blinded fluvial ship. The plates are stored in their original cardboard boxes, also quite well preserved.
