Fascinating collection of 27 18x9 stereoscopic postcards with amazing stereoscopic effect, printed in the USA circa 1905. This singular collection is composed of a series of chosen photographs which stand out for the impressive tridimensional effect generated when watched through a stereoscope. The images depict scenes and situations taken in different places of the world. There are two types of scenes: some of them are dramatic and are described with lines such as After the ball, and the other ones are realistic and picturesque images of different countries and scenarios. The pictures are printed on thin cardboard plates and remain in very good condition, a surprising feature considering that they are more than one hundred years old. All of them bear the IMPERIAL SERIES brand name printed on each side.
