Antique Albertina. Solid-Silver Pocket Watch Chain. Circa 1900

Gorgeous antique albertina solid-silver pocket watch chain made circa 1900, probably English. The chain is in excellent condition and preserves all its original silver component parts. Its design, with three fine chains with twisted links, three engraved-silver charms and a tassel, makes it possible to be worn as a watch chain or a bracelet. At the center of the chain we can see a silver charm with a heraldic-style engraved motif containing an X-shaped cross and two vegetal-inspired motifs. At each end we can see two identical silver charms with hand-engraved vegetal motifs too. These charms are connected to a silver ball; one of them bears a snap clip for the watch, and the other has a hanging tassel and a T-bar in a twist design. Overall, this antique albertina solid-silver pocket watch chain is a great piece, worthy to be worn with the most elegant outfit. Dimensions: 11.42 in / 29 cm. Weight: 15.5 g.
