Beautiful antique 18K gold pocket watch made in Switzerland circa 1930 and in good condition. This is quite an attractive piece, an ultrafine watch with a great hand-engraved decoration covering the rear cap and a stylish dial, protected by the original glass lid. The decoration is gorgeous, composed of vertical stripes framed by a modernist-style vegetal motif. At the top, three flowers crown a shield where once the initials PR were engraved. The silvery dial is adorned with a central embossed vegetal motif, elegant and subtle. It mounts Breguet-style black hands and Arabic numerals. At the 12 position we can see the inscription ‘Chronometre HIRT’. In we open the rear cap we will find a hallmark, the mark for 18K gold and the number 229 1733. This cap protects the delicate movement, quite simple and in excellent condition and working order.
