Antique minute repeater pocket watch with chronometer, made in Switzerland circa 1900 and in excellent condition and working order. The case is made of gilt metal and is profusely decorated with fine hand-engraved floral motifs, which can be seen in the metal frame of the front cap and covering all the rear cap. In this cap, a lovely and detailed band goes around a non-engraved shield bound to contain the owner’s initials. The dial is white, with black Arab numerals and ‘poire’ hands. It is in very good condition, with no hairlines or signs of wear. The movement is quite complex and is finely preserved too.

This antique minute repeater pocket watch with chronometer is a great example of the quality of Swiss watch movements, but also a beautiful piece of metalwork.
