Rare Patek Philippe Art -Deco Pocket Watch. 18K White Gold. Switzerland, 1930s

Rare Patek Philippe art-deco pocket watch in 18K white gold, made in Switzerland in the early 1930s and in good condition. The watch works really fine and comes with a chain of the same era and style. Though it has no hallmarks, we can guarantee that the chain is also made of 18K white gold. The watch’s design is truly art-deco style, with straight numerals which incline following the dial’s curvature. The case and the crown also show a simple, solid and straight design, creating a lovely and unmistakable look. The dial has ‘poire’ silvery hands and the manufacturer’s name at the 12 position. Inside the rear cap we find the brand name again, together with the gold’s hallmark, the serial number 416323 and a date from 1919 to 1934, possible to celebrate some 25th anniversary. The movement is in great condition, signed by the brand and with serial number 822000. We can appreciate the wolf tooth gears typical of Patek Philippe timepieces.
