Antique sword for Spanish cavalry officer model 1728, forged in Spain in the 18th century and in excellent condition. The sword is made of steel. The only marks to be taken in consideration can be seen at the blades edge: they are dents produced in combat. The hilt has a horse mouth type cross-guard and grip covered of the original twisted wire, in great condition. Here, the blade bears a mark shaped like a bust in profile. It also has two engraved inscriptions: on one side we can read the name ENRIQUE COEL, the famous German swordsmith, and on the other, EN ALAMANIA, in Germany. This wonderful sword for Spanish cavalry officers model 1728 deserves to shine in any collection for its ancient age, its past and its fine condition. Dimensions: Blade Length: 37 in / 94 cm.
