Fascinating antique military field telegraph or Morse station, made circa 1900 and in very good condition. This interesting device is complete and comes in its original storing box, made of black-finished solid wood. Mechanically, the telegraph shows off an impeccable working order; the wiring and the electrical component parts seem to be in fine condition too, though they have not been tested. The item can be removed from the box by loosening the side screw that holds it in its place. It is composed of different brass parts with some silvery-metal screws and plates. The wooden box has two circular side openings, one with a glass pane and the other designed to let the knob out. The box preserves the original leather carrying strap. This striking military field antique telegraph or Morse machine is a collectors item worthy of a museum of military pieces or telecommunications. Dimensions: Width: 9.06 in / 23 cm.
