Antique 13.39-inch-long French Nontron navaja, folding knife or pocketknife made circa 1900, with an elegant design and finely preserved. The steel blade is in good condition and we can still see the manufacturers mark, Nontron, quite worn by the use. The brass piece which connects the handle and the blade shows two hand-engraved initials, C.T., flanked by fleur-de-lis motifs. The handled is made of reddish wood, maybe chestnut it is tapered in shape and bears a simple engraved decoration, composed of pairs of slim parallel lines in the center and the ends. It preserves the brass ring. Its good condition and delicate quality turn this antique 13.39-inch-long French pocketknife into a singular piece, attractive and original.
