It is covered by brown leather and the spine is profusely decorated with gold-plated motives. The spine is divided in sections by raised bands and two of these sections bear the books title (SERMON DU P.M.P.) and the volume number. The covers inner faces are protected by a lovely artisanal marbled paper with blue background and fine red, white and yellow shapes.
