At the top left corner of the calculator we can see the TRIUMPHATOR logo clearly engraved and painted white. Triumphator GmbH was a German company founded to produce calculating machines similar to the one designed by W.T. Odner in the 1870s. This design was in turn inspired in Leibnizs arithmometer. Triumphator was founded in 1907 by two engineers named Soll and Holzapfel they developed many improvements and their calculators became very popular for their solidity and good performance. Triumphator calculators kept on being produced until 1965. This lovely machine preserves the black enamel that protects the metal case in very good condition: it looks shiny and even. The digits and the decals are also clear and bright. The chromed-metal component parts are slightly rusted in some parts, something logical if consider that this calculator has been used for decades.
