Amazing Triumphator C pinwheel calculator restored and working like new. The calculator stands on its original oak wooden base that can be connected to the black-enameled metal cover with braided leather handle. This is a very special machine, made in Germany between the 1920s-30s and worthy of a museum of mechanical antiques. The calculator can perform the four basic arithmetic operations; besides, its nice design turns it into a very decorative piece. The case that covers and protects the inner mechanism is made of black-enameled metal sheet. Is has been restored and the white numbers and symbols stand out on the black background. At the front of the machine we can see the Triumphator logo printed in white lettering, together with the letter corresponding to the model: C. Triumphator GmbH was founded in 1907 by two engineers, Soll and Holzapfel. They intended not only to manufacture Odhner calculators, but to include successive improvements that could later be patented. In 1912 the concession passed to Boleslaus Benas. Because of their many advantages, Triumphator calculators became highly popular and kept on being produced until 1965. The machine that we can see in the photographs shows the serial number 54252 at the back, engraved in the metal band that surrounds the bottom of the calculator. The excellent condition the chromed-metal mobile parts are in is astonishing, as they are free of rust. The metal cover bears the Triumphator logo clearly print in well preserved golden lettering. The handle, the lock and the key are all original; the last two are in working order. Any lover of mechanical antiques will see a real find in this beautiful calculator, fully functional and very decorative.
