Muldivo Calculating Machine, manufactured in Germany in 1930 for the English market. With its oak wood case formed by the base and the removable cover of the same material, in good working condition. Based on a windlass type mechanism with fluid movement, it has a black enamel finish with some evident signs of use, as well as the white and red enamel of the numbering and in general very visually attractive. Its typology is inspired by the Model D of Thales. The Muldivo Calculating Machine Co. Ltd. of London, "Specialists in Calculating Equipment since 1912", as the brand's slogan indicated, was a distributor of mechanical calculators from many companies, including Guy's, IME, Madas, Precisa, Thales, Walther, as well as manufacturing its own models. Many of the calculators were distributed under their original names, others, like the one we present here, were renamed under the Muldivo brand. The manufacture of the machine we offer belongs to Thaleswerk GMBH in Baden, Germany, hence the engraving DER 36511 foreign that appears on its base. Box measures: 44.5 cms (width), 21 cms (depth), 18 cms (height).
