Amazing white porcelain vase, big in size and decorated by hand with charming bright colors. This vase is an antique piece around one hundred years old. It was made in the early 20th century (between 1900 and 1930), and in spite of its ancient age has survived to our days in strikingly good condition. It has a wooden pedestal that lifts it and provides it with an airy look. The base of this piece has a small drill in the center bound to insert electrical wiring. This is because years ago, the vase was turned into an electric lamp. The decoration that adorns the porcelain is gorgeous, full of bright colors and stylish hand-painted motives. It is composed of elegant images depicting decorative objects such as vases, flower pots, chests and small tables. Some of the painted recipients contain impressive flowery branches, some of them with fruits too. Scattered around the articles we can see other motives such as a happy bird, some kind of snake coiling around a branch and a parchment tied up with a ribbon. The motives are painted by hand in bright and lively colors, with a predominance of turquoise, pink, yellow and green. The main image, located at the central front side of the vase, shows a group of recipients and pieces of furniture with a big turquoise vase decorated with a white dragon. The attention to detail and the precision that can be appreciated in these motives reveal the hand of a skillful artist. The pedestal where the vase stands on is also a good-looking antique piece it is made of carved and turned solid wood and boasts a nice Oriental design, with a dark finish ennobled by the patina of time. Measurements (without pedestal): Width: 7.8 in / 20 cm. Height: 20.4 in / 52 cm.
