Antique couple of Chinese porcelain vases (Famille Rose), made circa 1900 and in very good condition. The vases stand on their original gilt-metal pedestals; these pieces match the decorative borders that adorn the vases mouths. They are finely preserved and display an uncommon beauty. Inside the vases contain removable metal recipients, designed to put flowers inside and easy to fill and empty. The porcelain they are made of is white and is profusely decorated with hand-painted colorful images. The predominant color is pink; this feature gives the porcelains family its name, Rose. The scenes are organized in square panels framed by plants and butterflies; they depict birds sitting in trees and groups of men and women dressed in the traditional way. Both vases preserve the original golden porcelain handles located at their sides. Perfect to be used as a special decorative element, these antique Chinese Rose-Family porcelain vases stand out for their wonderful decoration and excellent condition.
