This piece stands out for the striking silverwork it shows the sticks are composed of delicate swirl-shaped silver filigree pieces with a fine original gold-plated finish. In addition to that, the fans sticks are adorned with blue-and-turquoise enameled silver pieces which when unfolded, make up a landscape with temples, trees and boats. The enamels are in great condition, complete and boasting a bright and vibrant color. The red ribbon which connects the sticks and makes it possible to fold and unfold the fan is also finely preserved and remains functional. The guards are also made of gold-plated silver adorned with vegetal-inspired embossed motifs, composed of leaves and flowers.
