Antique Chinese Wang Bing Rong Porcelain Vase. XIX CENTURY.

Beautiful Chinese vase made of carved white porcelain in the late 19th century. It is a piece by Wang Bing Rong, a prestigious Chinese artist who transferred his ability to carve bamboo to the carving of porcelain. He carved scenes on this material in the same way as is done on ivory or jade. This vase is an exclusive example of his art, and is also in perfect condition. The piece is stylized and elegant in shape, and this is enhanced by the original black wooden pedestal it stands on. Wang Bing Rong was a renowned bamboo carver who worked from 1862 to 1908. His technique was so refined that he was able to transfer his skill to the carving of such a fragile material as porcelain.
