This lovely antique gramophone is a very special piece due to its aesthetical attractive and its good working order. Made in Germany in 1910, it is highly remarkable because of the many decorative details that adorn it. The engraved metal horn preserves the original and colorful lacquered finish, a combination of different tones: pink, red, orange and white. On the other hand, the wooden box is embellished with slim inlaid wooden details that provide it with a very special beauty. The wood has been restored and the French polish that protects it shines with its warm glow, enhancing the color and the veneer.The box is made of solid walnut wood, with a nice brunette color that goes from golden to dark brown. The inlaid work that decorate all its sides (except the one with the crank) create rectangular frames that contain a diamond-shape motive in the center. The top plank where the turntable rests is also embellished with wooden inlaid details. The elbow that holds the arm with the reproducer and the horn is also very nice, made of black-lacquered metal and with an inscription in golden lettering that reads: J. KARNER BRUCK A/M MUR, the name of the German manufacturer that made this gramophone.The silvery metal components preserve their neat shine and are all original, remaining in good condition. The metal horn rises up majestically over the gramophone and is the surely the starring part of the piece. Its color combination is very appealing and the lacquer is the original one. Last but not least, the reproducer bears a red band with the word Percival printed in silvery lettering.In essence, this gramophone is a very special and decorative piece that will also be perfect to play records with the unmistakable sound of vintage reproducers.Measurements: Box: Width: 340 mm.
