Impressive antique horn gramophone made circa 1910. This is a fully original piece from the time that preserves all its component parts and the motor. As well as being a beautiful and decorative article, this vintage gramophone also works like new. Its motor, quite silent, provides a clear and neat sound, full of charm. On the other hand, the gramophone is in quite good condition and looks as attractive as when it was manufactured. Its colorful and original design is quite surprising for quite an antique piece. The item has a square solid wooden box protected by a dark mahogany finish. All the sides of the box have been cut creating a nice filigree of ovals, closed by sheets of orange material. Both the wood and the finish are very well preserved. Attached to the boxs back we can see a lovely silvery metal elbow decorated with engraved floral motives. This piece holds the arm that connects the reproducer and the horn, which is also in good condition. The reproducer is the original one and works perfectly. The horn that crowns this gramophone is a very remarkable piece because of its big size and colorful finish. It is made of lobed metal sheet and is outside enameled in a very light blue color. Inside the finish is even more colorful: the white enamel with blue nerves is edged by an orange finish at the horns mouth, while inside the piece is painted in a bright yellow tone. Its attractive design and magnificent working order turn this horn gramophone into a very interesting piece with a strong decorative power.Measurements: Box: Width: 13.7 in/35 cm.
