Amazing portable suitcase gramophone in good condition and great working order. This gramophone was made in the Soviet Union during the 1930s and shows off a surprisingly good condition, preserving all its original component parts. The motor has been revised and fine-tuned so nowadays this gramophone works well and sound wonderfully. The suitcase where this nostalgic device is enclosed is made of wood, outside covered by a classy bluish grey fabric in great condition. Inside the cover we find a printed golden and black mark with the manufacturing companys logo and name. It is quite worn by the trace of time so it is impossible to identify the words. Nevertheless, the gramophones reproducer bears another inscription in clear embossed Cyrillic words: ARTEL GRAMMOPHON LENINGRAD, indicating that this article was made by Artel. The chromed-metal mobile component parts are in amazing condition and show no signs of rust or wear. The gramophone's box is also well preserved. It keeps the original piano hinge, the leather handle for carrying the gramophone and the metal shutters. It is still a solid and functional container. The grey fabric that covers it shows only slight signs of wear that provide this wonderful Soviet gramophone with charm and authenticity. This is a piece that can only enhanced by the trace of time.
