Fine antique horn gramophone with a classic and elegant design and in perfect working order. This is an ancient piece in very good condition; it has been fully restored in order to boast an impressive look. The motor is of high quality and the gramophone works wonderfully, letting the user play antique records and enjoy their nostalgic and charming sound. All the component parts are original from the time and make up a model that will surely stand out for its style and ancient age. The gramophones box is made of light-colored solid wood, protected by a walnut finish quite in line with the devices style. Its design is classic and elegant, with nice moldings at the corners and the base. On the front side we can see the remains of a colorful round sticker with the inscription TRADE MARK still legible. Under the sticker there is a metal plate with the name of the original distributor clearly printed in black lettering: Lucien Roberts Tamines. Attached to one of the boxs sides we can see the elbow that supports the arm with the reproducer and the horn. The reproducer or soundbox is a quality model, in perfect working order and with the inscription ALVO-LUXUX clearly engraved in capital letters. The magnificent metal horn rises up above the article; it is big in size and with an elongated conical shape. The metal boasts a delicate embossed grooved decoration and bears a red enameled finish. Its mouth and central part bear a soft faded black enameled shadow that creates an attractive gradient feeling. Its timeless beauty and wonderful sound turn this horn gramophone into an exclusive piece, a real object of desire for any music lover. Measurements: Box: Side: 13.3 in / 34 cm.
