This appealing and beautiful horn gramophone is an authentic piece made in Central Europe circa 1915. In spite of being one hundred years old, the gramophone boasts a magnificent appearance: it has been restored to recover its full glory. The motor has also been fine-tuned so nowadays the device sounds wonderfully. The gramophones box is made of solid oak wood and boasts a classic-inspired design. It has a molded and milled base and the sides are decorated with small wooden rectangular pieces that create gaps and reliefs. The wood bears a great French-polish finish its warm satin glow enhances the beauty of the color and the veneer. Attached to one side we can see the silvery metal elbow that holds the arm with the reproducer and the horn. This piece is really nice, decorated with vegetal-inspired details in a clear Modernist style. The arm that holds the reproducer is connected also to the bright metal horn. Big in size and classic in style, the horn boasts a lobed design decorated with engraved grooves. It is covered by a lovely emerald green enameled finish, enhanced by strokes of golden paint in the outer and the inner sides. The combination of the golden brown box, the silvery metal elbow and the bright green horn create a piece with a huge aesthetic and decorative interest.
