This beautiful item is in very good condition and is remarkable piece because of its beauty and excellent sound. The motor has been fully revised and works wonderfully: it is quite silent and sounds good. The gramophone preserves all its original component parts in very good condition. The boxs outside coppery orange covering is also quite well preserved. The box keeps the original chromed metal lock and hinges, and also the leather handle with metal reinforcements designed to carry the gramophone. Inside we find the motor and the rest of the component parts. One of the most remarkable features of this device is that we do no need to take out the arm and connect it to the turntable to operate it. The user must only turn the table and put it in its place, and then connect the reproducer and the crank. All these pieces are made of chromed metal and remain in good condition, except the reprucer that has some scratches caused by the clip that holds it. This is the only that worths to mention, but is due to normal use. Inside the cover we can see a fine decal with a Russian inscription that includes the manufacturers name, Molotovskii Patephonnii Savod. The logo is circular in shape and depicts a schematic landscape with a treble clef that reigns over the sea and the mountains. The decal is in excellent condition, complete and with no traces of wear. It is one more detail to enhance this beautiful portable gramophones attractiveness, an antique piece wonderfully preserved.
