This fine antique table gramophone is an especially decorative piece that remains in perfect working order. The gramophone is thought to have been made in France and is dated in the 1920s. The oak wooden box has been carefully restored and the motor has been tested and cleaned in order to guarantee an optimal performance. The good condition of the different parts and pieces is quite remarkable, especially considering that this gramophone is nearly one hundred years old. The gramophones box is made of solid oak wood and bears a fine dark finish that enhances the veneers beauty and provides the item with a classy and stately style. The French-polish finish gives the wood a warm sating glow that protects and enhances the material. The gramophones motor is not the original one, but an antique one that was included decades ago. The reproducer or soundbox is original from the period and bears the inscription GRANDE SYMPHONY SOUNDBOX SWISS MADE. The supporting arm is made of silvery metal and shows some signs of wear, due to the trace of time and the use. The crank is also the original one and mounts an enameled wooden handle. Its finish is somewhat worn but the piece is in general good condition. The wooden box has two front diamond-shaped doors with small silvery-metal knobs; the gramophones sound volume can be regulated by opening or closing these doors. The box stands on an ample molded base that provides it with elegance and stability. As decorative as antique, this striking table gramophone is a classy antique that will delight the lovers of stylish pieces. Measurements: Width: 18.1 in / 46 cm. Boxs Height: 11.4 in / 29 cm.
