This exceptional phonograph - gramophone is a charming model, original from the early 20th century and in excellent condition. It is a very well preserved HMV (His Masters Voice) phonograph - gramophone model 103, made in Great Britain in 1925. The phonograph - gramophone is in perfect working order; the motor has been dismantled, greased and fine-tuned in order to guarantee a first-class performance. The oak wooden box is very well preserved and has the original finish, warm and shiny. If we lift the top cover, inside we will find an original sticker with the logo and the market name. The sticker is in very good condition, complete and fully colored. It shows the inscription HIS MASTERS VOICE THE phonograph - gramophone COMPANY LTD. PATENTS APPLIED FOR printed under the famous image of a dog listening to a phonograph - gramophone. This logo was coined in 1899, when The phonograph - gramophone Company bought a picture by Francis Barraud entitled His Masters Voice to use it as their brand image. It depicts the dog Nipper (which belonged to the painters dead brother) listening to his masters voice from a horn phonograph - gramophone.
