Awesome antique Spanish His Master's Voice (HMV) gramophone made circa 1920 and in very good condition. This is model 4 (luxury versión), an exclusive item with a spectacular design made of high-quality materials. The one that we can see in the images is very well preserved and has been fully restored; the motor has also been cleaned and tuned so today the gramophone works and sounds perfectly. The luxury model 4 was commercialized with wooden horn and blur-wooden side panels, features that turned it into an elegant piece for stylish homes. This outstanding gramophone preserves all its original component parts except for the chrome-plated metal element that connects the elbow with the horn. The wood the box and the horn are made of is in excellent condition: the original French-polish finish has been restored in order to regain its original splendor. The boxs front side bears an old-time sticker with the brand logo (with the image of the dog Nipper listening to a gramophone), in good condition and complete. The sticker that we can see at the horns mouth is not original but a reproduction. The gramophone mounts an English Exhibition reproducer, manufactured by the record company and very well preserved. Inside the box there are some compartments to store accessories (needles, record duster); this feature is not original of the gramophone but was added later. With its imposing look and amazing working order, this antique Spanish His Master's Voice gramophone is bound to shine in the living room of a lover of old-time objects and music.
