The company was named The New-Phono LTD and sold gramophones, player pianos, disks etc. and different musical instruments. In 1955 they started to commercialize electric instruments, from guitars and basses to amplifiers and organs. Moreover, the founders son, José Massó Ubach, repaired instruments, devices and radios. The business kept on being run by the family for decades and opened other shops in different points of Barcelona.
