Antique Red Suitcase Gramophone. Germany, Circa 1930

Superb antique red gramophone, almost new, made in Germany circa 1930 and in strikingly good condition. The motor works really fine and provides a brilliant and clear sound. The boxs covering and the silvery-metal component parts stand out for its attractive appearance. The suitcase-box is made of wood, covered in ruby-red leatherette. The material is in a nearly flawless condition, with almost no signs of wear. The color looks as bright and alive as the first day, while the silvery-metal suitcase locks remain in perfect working order. Moreover, the suitcase preserves the leather carrying handle in fine condition too. Inside, the cover has a compartment to store records; it is made of a rigid material also covered of red leatherette and with a foldable system. Under this compartment there is a riveted white plate with the name and address of the original Germany distributor. The silvery-metal component parts that make up the gramophones mechanism are all original from the time. They are made of chromed metal and remain in great condition, with scarcely any signs of the trace of time.
