Antique gramophone-phonograph with wooden horn and stand, made circa 1920 and in excellent condition. This is quite a rare item for the small size of its gorgeous wooden horn (smaller than they use to be) and its peculiar design. The stand is actually the turned wooden leg of an antique table, which has been adapted to fit into a gap located under the gramophones box and make up a compact piece. The Swiss double spring motor is very powerful and quiet and allows to play large 12'' records. The reproducer, on the other hand, is of Spanish origin and provides a loud and clear sound. The gramophones box combines a dark mahogany structure with light-colored panels; the horn which crowns the item is made of mahogany wood too. The wood is protected by a fine-looking French-polish finish in great condition. All the component parts and pieces are original from the time except for the felt, which has been renewed. For its original design and amazing working order, this antique gramophone with wooden horn and stand deserves an honor place in the dining room of a lover of music and antiques.
