This gorgeous gramophone was also the first alarm clock ever made which played your favorite record instead of bells. The gramophone starts playing the record when the alarm starts. All the component parts are original and remain in spectacular condition. Even the front lid, usually missing, is preserved. Both the gramophone and the clock have been thoroughly cleaned and greased in order to guarantee a right performance. The clocks dial and the reproducer show the brand name PETER PAN. The Peter Pan Gramophone Ltd. Company sold different travelling gramophones between 1923 and 1936. They were made in different countries, Switzerland among them, where the motors were manufactured too (usually by Thorens).
