Striking Spanish gramophone made in 1920 by His Masters Voice (His Master's Voice in Spanish). It is a very special piece and it works really well, providing a nice and clear sound, just like the first day of use. This is an original model from that era and it has a His Masters Voice motor although it is not the original one but another one from the same time and brand, which was adapted for this piece. With its light wood box and its hand-decorated horn, this article is surely as decorative as charming. The box is made of light mahogany wood and its design as sober and very simple. The wood is protected by a French polished finish and looks great, remaining in perfect condition. At the front, the box bears a metal medal with the famous image of a dog listening to a gramophone and the following inscription: His Master's Voice EL GRAMOHONE MARCA REGISTRADA. The article also keeps the original crank with a dark wooden handle, and the elbow which holds the reproducers arm is also very attractive: it is painted black with a stylized golden painted decoration. Nevertheless, maybe the most attractive piece of this gramophone is its amazing horn. It is made of metal sheet and was painted dark red. The inner part of the mouth is embellished by a hand-painted floral motive. This decoration is composed of five big roses in different colors, accompanied by green leaves and some smaller roses. The design is undeniable charming and turns this article into a rare and special piece.
